The Chesapeake Bay complex is situated just south of the hustle and bustle of the popular coastal resort town of Margate. Margate is renown for its festivals, beach entertainment, Mardi Gras and music concerts featuring top artists, which are held over the festive seasons. So, if action and entertainment is what you are looking for – this is the place to stay.

The complex overlooks a secluded bay approximately 1klm south of the Margate main beach and is a short walking distance away from the fishing pier. With just a tranquil coastal road to cross directly in front of the complex, it’s an easy access to the beach. The views from the units are impressive and from the top floor units whale and dolphin watching is possible at certain times of the year.

It would also be the perfect place to view the sardine run. During the months of May – July the annual migration of huge shoals of sardines to warmer water take place, bringing hundred and thousands of birds into the area, all dive-bombing the sea in spectacular maneuvers. It’s a never to be forgotten sight.
